I’m an amateur and lurker and thankful for all the discussion. I’m on a flight from IAH to ATL at 33k ft and around Thibodeaux, LA. I’m not used to seeing clouds so high when at cruising altitude!

It’s always once those storms approach the Monroe County area I swear.

Monroe County definitely needs to be added to the list of tornado magnet places. Maybe there isn't one single town in there that's been hit as much as the likes of Moore and El Reno, Jackson or Vilonia, but still.
