Same cell looks to be ramping up just north of Hodges, AL
It looks like some of the CAPE may be approaching 3,500 J/KG. That is insane for this time of year.
That just missed my parents. Amazing watching it curl up on itself.Significant damage and injuries reported now in Oakland City, IN.
Glad they’re alright. Been watching that circulation to make sure it dies out before it reaches SW Ohio since all my immediate family lives there. That just missed my parents. Amazing watching it curl up on itself.
Hope it goes well for your family! I told my father we will get our own problems later today in Escambia, Florida!Glad they’re alright. Been watching that circulation to make sure it dies out before it reaches SW Ohio since all my immediate family lives there.
If it was well after sunrise, more persistent and widespread, and closer to the Gulf I’d say there’d be a chance of that, but unfortunately none of that is the case.I know it's wishful thinking but I'm really hoping this early morning convection henders what's to come.
Well, we've got a pretty good thunderstorm going on over here in Brushy Pond and our power is flickering. If you're not seeing it yet, I imagine it'll be there to wake you up real soon. Stay safe!Tornado warning in Mississippi all by itself. I'm still trying to wake up and catch up.
This lightning is something else in cullman
Every single parameter of this storm now matches April 27th 2011 almost exactly. Would be interested in seeing some current soundings from the area.It looks like some of the CAPE may be approaching 3,500 J/KG. That is insane for this time of year.
