I've only experienced an EF1 in person during my life so far. I am also 600+ miles removed from tonight's events. That being said, I can't help but feel dread looking at Southern Missouri right now. I made a trip there roughly four years ago and recognize a lot of the towns/cities being mentioned.

Please hope that Poplar Bluff, Cape Girardeau, et.al. don't take any direct,highly damaging hits.

Very dangerous situation unfolding for Poplar Bluff Missouri and Jonesboro Arkansas. Both large population centers in direct paths of significant tornado producing supercells with tornadoes on the ground.
