Severe WX Severe Weather Threat 3/14-3/16

Agreed. It's almost impossible to keep track of all of these storms at this point.
Yeah I’m over it. In my experience covering these night time outbreaks in these areas it’s rare to get 0 fatalities with so many tds and still ongoing. Reminds me of 3/31/23. We knew next day. Lot of rural areas

Without even knowing what tomorrow will bring -- one thing is for certain: this is a historic event that will be remembered for a very long time. This evening isn't even remotely over, and tomorrow will likely add to the significance of this outbreak. This evening is the first time I’ve felt “it” since that infamous day back in 2011.

This particularly long-lived supercell crossing into Missouri south of Doniphan continues to be just an absolute beast of a storm. Already at least one likely violent tornado out of this thing, likely another significant tornado on the ground again. The warning includes Poplar Bluff.

Imagine the presentation if we had a radar in the area

What makes the 02z HRRR so impactful on the Day 1 outlook?
I'm so sorry. I made a mistake. It was the 01z run not 02z run. It shows first round lifting out quickly and unfortunately creates volatile environment for supercells.
