Severe WX Severe Weather Threat 3/14-3/16

It's gonna be tense fam, and people are more than likely going to be overly cautious because of the environment and the oncoming disaster on the horizon. I would bet it wasn't personal, don't get discouraged, and stay safe.
The environment just isnt impressive here. It should be obvious to anyone who closely follows weather that a tornado wasn’t coming out of that storm

Jackson Mississippi just put out a special sounding. There's still a cap in place and the moisture hasn't gotten there yet. This is according to Brad Arnold.

Yes, notice how the Lousiana storms died off as they transited NE towards Mississippi. Very clear a cap put a lid on their further development. That said, we are still a little way from when the more poignant development was supposed to take place in MS.

We're still ahead of schedule. Makes sense there is still a cap in place. Things weren't really supposed to start firing off in MS until at least 0Z at the earliest, which is another 40 mins from now.

Did Ryan just say Lime sized Hail? That is a first LOL.

Not trying to play moderator or derail the thread here, just adding on to what @JayF said: if you see a post you don't necessarily agree with, no need to get bent out of shape. If you see a rule actually being broken, report it and move on or use the ignore button.

Thank you for your attention. Now back to the weather.

HRRR thinks that breaks in SE AR in the next hour or so basically along the river up to Memphis.

Pretty common hail size reference, some offices use it in warnings.
Interesting because I do not believe I have heard that before. I could be wrong.

Definitely a fishy look to this storm. Honestly the most impressive one i’ve seen so far this afternoon.

Agree. That entire grouping is starting to display signs that they are ready to take off as I mentioned earlier.

I know it is difficult for all of us to be patient, but right now we are still in the early stages. It is going to ramp up soon and then it's going to be difficult for everyone to keep up. The storms in SW Missouri are tantalizingly close to wreaking havoc.
