Thank goodness we have the terminal radar because the radar east of Cincinnati is not doing a great job of showing this dangerous tornado situation in these burbs.

That hook is nuts. This thing is passing just north of US-42 in Florence as we speak. There is a LOT of housing in this area.

Highly populated area. We're about 7 miles east in Independence. Lots of lightning.

I don’t, but Elijah on Ryan Hall’s stream just reported that the fire suppression systems triggered at businesses near the Florence mall, so it sounds like it may have made a direct impact on the mall.
Ryan also just heard on EMS scanner that the fire department is encountering damage on their way to the mall…

I just heard there were power flashes spotted in that area too. Probably a tornado.

I’m surprised there is not a Tornado Emergency for Florence.
It's already past Florence and the signature has weakened.

We didn’t really have enough radar data to know the magnitude of the tornado here. If there was an intense to violent tornado here, I would assume we would have seen something from the Cincinnati radar indicating that?
That said, I think the PDS warning could have been issued with this since TORE criteria wasn’t quite met.

Changing subjects, should there be a seperate severe weather thread for the remnants of Arthur? There is a Tornado Watch for southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
