WTVY out of Dothan, AL had the tornado on their camera moments ago and still have a view of the lowering.

I think the low pressure core is ahead of where it was supposed to be right now and those height falls are actually working to clear out the subsidence from earlier storms ahead of the new convection

@jiharris0220 do you have any thoughts on this storm mode? Bulk shear looks very strong and very perpendicular. It's going to keep these storms from merging, right?

Just south of those storms, there's a large pocket of 5+ STP. Anything that forms in there absolutely has the chance to drop some beasts.

I really do not like these cells. They're picking up so much unimpeded inflow. Look at the size of those inflow notches.

This definitely doesn't look like the Blobby MCS that was modelled. I don't like the look of these cells at all.

The tornado warned cell in southern Missouri is really ramping up.

South of Kansas City. Classic looking hook.

That Kansas City cell has gnarly rotation on higher tilts. Significant tornado will likely come from this storm soon enough.

This Springfield storm is the most concerning to me right now. These cloud tops are bursting past 60k feet all over the place, and the models didn't show hardly anything breaking 55k feet.
