This seems to be happening all across the midwest.The southeast Minnesota supercell complex has begun to deviate into semi-discrete pendants over the past several scans, the northern most of which (near Elgin, MN) is now the strongest couplet of the few in this complex on velocity.

Is the cap still there? It is very odd to see this, but in Trey’s video the cap was weaker than expected in the northern mode… really odd.The interesting thing is you have a crashing cold front, with a large gradient across it, but cells along the line are arguably more discrete than their OWS counterparts at the moment.
