Really don't like that it appears to be heading for Mauston.
That’s not what that term means. Upscale growth refers to an increase in storm coverage that results in a shift away from a discrete storm mode as storms merge, leading to linear/MCS development.

There really isnt a single road its passing ovr without isolated homes, sadly. This thing is doing very bad damage and it might reach Mauston

certainly not the best take, but also I do agree it didn’t look very good at the time you posted that. Perhaps it was just the way it was oriented with respect to the radar or something at the time.

This cell has had a convergence signature for the past 20minutes before it produced. It was obvious what the outcome would be.
The SPC rightly made the call for that MD. Just wished the weather office in charge would’ve warned it sooner.
