Yeah. In their defense, there have been no storm reports with this storm. In their prosecution, it just has a look to it. Data over vibes for now.

The storm mode for tomorrow is the messiest, disorderly junk I’ve seen in quite some time, actually just straight dog water.
Not a single organized cell to be found, all garbage shoot convection that limits instability.
Keep in mind that this is at 1pm and everything is pretty much of the coast by 5pm.
The synoptics are moderate risk worthy but this is honestly could be one of the greatest examples of how storm mode can cause what would’ve a major tornado outbreak to end up being a non event.
And not just tornadoes either; wind, hail, the limited instability from overcrowding screws over the other parameters too.

One would hope that this is what plays out tomorrow rather than a najor severe weather outbreak. On the other hand, we'll have to see firsthand what actually happens...

Harping on this one for a moment, but someone a couple pages back commented on the usage of SVR.
The NWS is fully justified in blanket SVR warnings as looking at radar, the entire QLCS system is capable of producing damaging winds and have DBZ values at 50 or above.

I’m about .2 miles away from being in the Spring Hill TOR. Listening to sirens and thunder sitting by my window. Ready to head to shelter as soon as warning is extended.
