Right now yeah, that's why I clarified that they gotta wait to see if anything ramps up. Environment is impressive enough last time I checked so things could change slowly.

No, because they're not using a surface based parcel which means they're being cut off from actually becoming surface based storms. That's my main point. They're more likely to be large hailers than tornadoes. The surface inversion has rolled in already and storms needed to develop beforehand for any meaningful tornado threat. That hasn't happened with today.

North central Illinois? I'm checking mesoscale and I'm not seeing any CIN? Genuinely curious, my knowledge on this stuff isn't very good.

EDIT: NVM I see it, I'll keep watching storm chasers but yeah I doubt anything will happen today.
 
Based on reflectivity it looks like the cell is struggling for the time being, it'll either have to merge or ramp up on its own if it wants to produce another. May also be cycling looking at the behavior of the hook and its associated meso.

EDIT: Elevated according to Copic, probably on its way out.
