I guess Abilene has had plenty of lead time, hopefully people took it seriously.

Unfortunately, warning lead-time has nothing on everyone's uncle saying "well I wanna go out and see it." Half my own family does it whenever we have any kind of severe weather.

I’ve seen people do that to avoid hail but yikes. Don’t see any hail in that photo

Fortunately that cycle failed. Man that could've been ugly given the way that storm had been producing prior.

Jacob Riley showed me another picture of that tornado when I chatted with him just a few minutes ago.

Definitely some bad damage. Is that a small house that was partially swept away?
