of course last year when we had a MDT and a tornado watch that closed all the museums and offices it was a blue sky Forecasted Convective Amplification Deficiency, but MRGL yeah time for wedges

Very bad. This is all densely populated suburbs with lots of apartment buildings that aren’t going to be very tornado resistant. I used to live up there a few years back before we moved to VA.

Any QLCS has the possibility of producing a tornado as long as any amount of shear is present.

Mesoscale dynamics in the right place at the right time pretty much.
