Is it just me, or is today's Enhanced risk with a hatched tornado zone in an unusual location? Parts of that area are desert or close to it. Just not usually the part of Texas I associate with tornadoes.

Lower Ohio valley Tennessee valley ,parts Dixie usually see the uptick of cold season severe weather during a strong lanina enso… mostly

Areas watch would be lower Ohio valley , mid south Tennessee valley and parts Dixie… these threats are mostly nocturnal events mainly due to the intensifying lower level jet , which intensifies during over night hours
