Severe threat Wednesday February 12, 2025

Im very curious to see the tornado probs. I wouldve thought they may introduce a small moderate, but it's getting a bit late for that. And they already did a update shortly ago. Moderate or not, potential for dangerous storms exist

Way too much uncertainty for a MOD, ENH will do just fine. That said, worried about how discrete these storms look as they move NEward.

I suspect the store north of Folsom, LA will eventually be the first problem of the day. There's been a significant uptick in lightning activity and according to the KHDC VWP hodograph, low level helicity has been increasing with a critical angle getting closer to 90 degrees.

Quite a few discrete/semi-discrete storms in LA and SW MS currently. Nothing imminently looking significant as far as tornado potential is concerned, but if this storm mode lasts into the evening, there's likely going to be problems.
