Severe Threat May 15-16, 2025

Definitely still a TDS.
Structurally it's still a beast, but on CC it doesn't look super well-defined atm. The blue drop doesn't correlate up by any tilts and corresponds to low returns. Don't doubt it's OTG, though.

Tornado is heading towards a number of small communities. Fairly rural, but a bunch of little neighborhoods in there.

I lived many years in Houston. He was always a long track political blowhard, just itching to mouth off his dumb opinions. Frequently wrong on forecasts, too.

He is absolutely someone who would spin a big political myth out of something minor, because "The ends justifies the means."
Would you people just shut up about politics? We are tracking severe weather not politics.

Well this just gets worse.

Hopefully they can bring in additional airlift from nearby districts. Medical helis are super important in rural or hard-to-reach areas. They still serve their purpose and we see them often flying out here in the Atlanta area.

Pretty nasty MCS going through Tennessee now. 31K without power so far, and that number will likely increase significantly.
