The last thing I want is to clutter an important thread, but hard disagree. Most of us have radar apps, do we need to keep spamming the same shot of the same storm?
- Most of us do follow these up on radar, but some don't. Some people come here to see real discussion about ongoing events (as opposed to the hyped up Youtubers) and might appreciate these being posted.
- Despite following events like these on radar when I have the time, I can't be on my computer or phone constantly, and flipping through the last posts with screenshots when I have a minute gives me a nice and quick overview of what has been going on.
- Going back to previous event threads and seeing all those visuals of every frame of a storm at the most critical points is valuable not only for the information, but also as a snapshot depicting how enthusiasts were reacting as it unfolded.
I do concede that having the exact same screenshot of the same frame of the same visual is not useful, but this is also very dynamic and posting these takes a minute or two, during that time 3-4 people might post the same thing all thinking they are the first person to do so. Honestly this is fine and totally understandable.
I just wanted to chime in to make sure nobody refrains from posting - I have been lurking around here since ... a very long time ago and I really appreciate reading you all.
