Hearing of the two fatalities from Scott County, MO was also unfortunate. I was surprised given only a few damage photos I'd seen (which granted, did look significant). I thought it hadn't hit much, but that's not the case.
Exactly. Somerset most likely has better constructed homes, but I don’t think the tornado was at peak strength there. In these parts, barring a Piedmont/El Reno Oil Rig type event, you most likely aren’t going to get above a mid level EF4.Eastern KY is one of the lowest-income sectors in the country. You're gonna have a lot of older homes out there in those neighborhoods that were hit.
I think the tornado may have actually peaked in between the towns based on the radar.Exactly. Deadliest tornado since mayfield 2021…24 dead in ky now… I have goosebumps![]()
I’ll be very interested to see what damage they find out there. It’s pretty rural with a lot of hills and forests, but there are some large homes in that area.I think the tornado may have actually peaked in between the towns based on the radar.
I actually tracked where the tornado was on radar and looked at maps, certainly looks like it’ll may have hit some large homes based on the path it took.I’ll be very interested to see what damage they find out there.
