Yeah, JP Dice was posting about it on Facebook earlier. It used to have to be a higher impact event to warrant schools dismissing early.

Being that Morgan County is out on Spring break this week, Here are the schools that have closed or are closing today.
The after school activities is a no brainer. Closing at noon someone just didn't want to be at work today.

Ascension Lutheran Child Development Center: Closing at 3:00 PM
Athens City Schools [WEB]: Closing at 12:30 PM; K-4 will dismiss at 12:00PM; All others at 12:30PM
Grace Lutheran School [WEB]: No after school activities
Huntsville City Schools [WEB]: No evening activities; After school activities cancelled
Lawrence County Schools [WEB]: Closing at 12:45 PM
Limestone County Schools [WEB]: Closing at 12:00 PM; Elementary school closing at 11:40AM
Valley Fellowship Christian Academy: No afterschool activities; All students need to be picked up by 3:30
Young World Christian Academy: Closing at 2:00 PM
