My Christmas lights have been vandalized two times in about a week's time. We've put lights up for years and no one has ever messed with them but this year someone has simply cut one of the the strings in two. I replaced the cut line and once again someone cut the replacement lights in the exact same place. It's weird that they cut them both times in the same exact place skipping over more expensive reindeer displays and a couple lighted trees. What's even more unsettling is that the lights are right up next to the house near a window. So, figured it was time to invest in some outdoor cameras. Anyone have any experience or suggestions on what to buy? At this point nothing else around the house has been messed with or vandalized. We did notify the police and they are supposed to make more passes through here but catching the person responsible would be nothing more than just luck.
