Just learned earlier this month that NASA TV is being shut down in favour of on-demand streaming next week:
Such a shame. I found the channel a 20 years ago and I've been tuning in during space missions etc. Yes, internet exists, but for the last few years NASA TV even had a satellite relay here in Europe and where I live the internet comes solely over LTE which can get overloaded. I just checked my smart TV - neither my Samsung Tizen TV nor Google Chromecast with Android TV found any NASA apps(maybe geolocked?), so I guess it's browser-only for me going forward. The on-air channel already has a crawl about impending shutdown.
