Alabama and Mississippi are the only 2 states left that still tie the celebration of Robert E. Lee's birthday to MLK Day. Mississippi is making plans to separate the 2... Alabama has no such plans.

I don’t know anybody who cares about Robert E Lee day or even mentions it. So if you hadn’t brought it up I wouldn’t even thought of it.
