10% significant tornado threat for extreme southeast KS, northeast OK, southwest MO (includes Joplin and Springfield). Also watch the intense bowing MCS that will cause a lot of wind damage into the TN/lower Ohio Valley. This has already started off as a very active day and will continue with a heightened tornado risk later.

Chaser talk has been identifying Joplin, Mo as the best target. Large hail appears to be a bigger threat.

Looks like the CAP has broken. SVR warned storms (8?) lined up from OKC to the extreme SE corner of Kansas. No TOR activity as of yet. I am seeing tweets of a few rotating cells but no funnels associated with them.
