Late this afternoon President Trump signed executive orders targeting unlawful trade practices. The orders instruct various government officials, including the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Commerce, and the U.S. Trade Representative, to develop a plan to combat violations of U.S. trade laws with 90 days. The Attorney General is instructed to develop corresponding enforcement measures.
The President also signed a bill nullifying an Obama era regulation which limited states’ abilities to deny unemployment benefits to individuals who tested positive on drug tests.
