I had a feeling there would be so many storms that it would tough to get them going which is good. I think south central and south east ms has the best chance and the bootleg of La. Jackson’s false alarm rate will be huge today with them tornado warning the whole line, most don’t have rotation just straight line winds. The line does look nasty though.

It looks like the cells are struggling because the mid-level lapse rates are only moist adiabatic (right near the border of being stable vs conditionally unstable).

Northwestern Lauderdale County in east central Mississippi...

* Until 300 PM CDT.

* At 201 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Newton, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Decatur around 215 PM CDT.
Stratton around 220 PM CDT.
Little Rock and Duffee around 225 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Hickory.
