Kilauea erupted last night around 9:30 HST. Doesn't sound like there's much danger to the local population, but it did produce a 4.4 Mw earthquake and some pretty wicked lava flow.

Here's what it looked like on the radar (steam plume as the fresh lava hit the crater lake, which boiled away). Gorgeous!

Wind vortex in the crater ripped up part of the lake crust. Not easy to see, but awesome!
