KCAL meteorologist passes out on-air

On March 18th, meteorologist Alissa Carlson experienced a scary moment during her live segment on KCAL News. I am relieved to hear that she is now on the road to recovery. In her recent update, Carlson expressed her appreciation for the support she has received and shared that she is feeling okay after sustaining a head injury.

Also important to recognize the quick response of the KCAL News team, who provided immediate assistance and comfort to Carlson during the incident. Yet another reason everyone should consider taking a first aid course.

Also a good reminder (even if it wasn't applicable in this case) why every business should have an AED available and people trained on how to use it.
