I got quite a few things prepared for my house too. Hoping absolutely none of it is required.Propane heater - check. Converter for 20lb tanks - check. Whole-house generator for parents - check.
A sincere hope for all rain - check.
It may just be struggling with the cold air from this system too.I think Euro had a bad run. If things don't go back by tommorow, though, I'll start to get worried.
It has. I think GFS has been doing a better job at depicting the strength and placement of the high so far.It may just be struggling with the cold air from this system too.
Fingers crossed that it is on to something. (Sorry to those wanting 3 inches of liquid equiv as winter weather; I am not one of them)18z euro is absolute non event for central Alabama.
Id rather the atmosphere be a lot colder with a bunch of snow for me or a cold rain lol. I'll pass on the ice thoughFingers crossed that it is on to something. (Sorry to those wanting 3 inches of liquid equiv as winter weather; I am not one of them)
This was the first glimmer of hope I've seen for my area just south of Atlanta. Being hopeful, but cautious until more information comes through tomorrow.18z euro is absolute non event for central Alabama.
Yeah, as much as I'd like to have a cold rain, I'm not sure it's actually indicative of a trend.Looking at the trend from the Euro it could just be a fluke honestly. Past 6 runs. Also threw the GFS in as well.
