Invest 90L: Rogue Storm?

Noticed invest 14L pop up on to tropical floaters page. Basically nothing on satellite right now but pretty breezy in the area per the latest ASCAT pass.

I assume they're trained in on the area the wave that the GFS has going in about 36 hours. It's been showing it for a bit now, too. It'll be interesting to see if it can gain enough tropical characteristics (or even convection) to be named at least a depression.

Wonder why they picked 14L vs 90L since 14L would normally mean TD 14 and was originally designated on March 15 so maybe the NHC knew of it ahead of time? Heres 14L plotted but this site dates it Sep. 26, 2017 - Sep. 27, 2017
