Inland forecast track keeps trending SE, and the center could cross over NW Alabama. This could set up a decent threat of tornadoes (weaker, short-lived ones) over parts of Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi on Thursday and Friday.

Hazard...tornado. Source...radar indicated rotation. Impact...flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Rockport around 1205 PM CDT. Hopewell around 1220 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Georgetown. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Take cover now! I posted in the Cindy thread with pictures, but I documented a very brief tornado yesterday North of Foley in the coastal mini cell clusters that came ashore. First tornado I've witnessed.

BMX completely dropped the ball with the tornado in West Jefferson today. Storm should've had a warning out 30 minutes prior, and waited for a TDS in a highly populated area to issue the warning.

NWS BMX reported that Broadcast Media Reported Wind damage at 12:50 PM. Structural damage was reported along Dr. Martin Luther King BLVD in Fairfield Possible Tornado.

* Until 530 PM CDT

* At 228 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain
continued to spread across areas that have already received two to
three inches during the past 24 hours. This will produce localized
flooding of some streets and roadways in the area...especially
near small creeks and streams and in low-lying flood prone areas
with poor drainage.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Birmingham, Hoover, Bessemer, Hueytown, Fairfield, Sumiton,
Pleasant Grove, Midfield, Adamsville, Brighton, Lipscomb,
Graysville, Lake View, Brookwood, Sylvan Springs, Vance, Woodstock,
Brookside, West Blocton, and Mulga.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

was located near Hillabee Creek, or near Alexander City, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

Those storms near Montgomery look robust, and actually have a good amount of lightning with them. I'd watch for those to get warnings eventually.
