There's multiple data points - ADT Dvorak, SFMR readings from latest recon, and dropsonde I previously mentioned that all support 180-185 mph winds, so I'd think the NHC will update this from 165 soon.

Why is that word frowned upon? It’s a great descriptor for extreme TC’s imo.
