I still can't believe I got to witness a June Major and a June MDR Major at that. Many were down casing for years the runs on the GFS showing a June Major, but now that it's happened; it isn't the same.

Beryl broke several records along the way:

• Strongest June Major
• Strongest July Major
• Strongest Storm in July
• Strongest July Hurricane
• Most ACE produced by a TC before August
• Earliest Category 4
• Earliest Category 5
• Easternmost June Hurricane
• Easternmost June Major
• First storm to RI in the MDR in June

Beryl is also among the few known storms to have formed in the MDR in June. It is also one of a handful of storm to become a hurricane in the MDR in June.
