PDS warning again. Already a huge debris ball on reflectivity.
And of those, only Sunfield probably warranted its F5 rating.I know we have the longest stretch between (E)F-5s in history right now. That said, I know we've had December EF-4s. But the only 2 December (E)F-5s I can find are from Vicksburg, MS (05-Dec-53) & Sunfield, IL (18-Dec-57).
This is not going well...Probably just bad luck but it almost always seems to be the nocturnal tornadoes that directly hit towns.TDS right on top of Cayce.
Sounds like another tornado caused major damage up in Illinois.
No kidding, this would be impressive for April. I just hope there aren't any more casualties tonight.I am just speechless over these radar images from a mid December event.
And that is not a small city.Mayfield is in the direct path
