That is insane! I heard there was a nest in one of the Huntsville City parks. Anyone know which one?

I'm not aware of any eagle's nests in Huntsville. From what I understand, Guntersville is a nice viewing area, although I've never investigated in person. I've gotten my eagle fix via Arconic (formerly Alcoa) eagle cam in Davenport, Iowa for the past 5 years. But this year, they're having serious cam problems that they can't seem to solve. Here's the link, but the cams are not really working very well at this time. While they were working, I got to see Liberty lay 3 eggs (or so we think). It's a new nest and the eggs are much deeper in the straw in the new nest than the old one that collapsed last June. Long, long story...

Arconic and Mediacom seem to have gotten most of the eagle cam streaming gremlins worked out. The first egg was laid on Valentine's day (2/14), so it should begin the hatch process on or around Tuesday 3/21.

This could be considered weather-related, for the upper midwest anyway. Seems it was so windy in the Davenport area yesterday afternoon, mama eagle did a face plant while sitting on her eggs.
