In an historic move, Senate Republicans voted to change the rules to end the Democratic filibuster of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch. Confirmation of Supreme Court nominees will now require a simple majority in the Senate, rather than the traditional 60 votes. The official vote for Gorsuch’s confirmation is scheduled for tomorrow.

Chair of the House Intelligence Committee Rep. Devin Nunes announced that he would temporarily recuse himself from the ongoing investigation into Russian meddling after the House Committee on Ethics released a statement indicating they would investigate accusations that Nunes disclosed classified information without authorization.

President Trump headed to Mar-a-Lago this evening for dinner with Chinese president Xi Jinping prefacing a bilateral policy summit which will extend through Friday.
