Severe WX April 1-2 (overnight) Severe Weather Event

North side of Nashville probably needs to be in shelter either way, despite not looking great from terminal thats awfully close to doing something

The north MS storm has been behind the outflow for a while, but it looks like it's catching up, in which case it could drop a tornado quickly

With the addition of the nocturnal nastiness especially, I'd say we have become more than justified for a high risk at this point even if we're east of it right now; I really had my doubts storm mode would cooperate earlier but it certainly has
100%. I don't think anyone in their right mind would say that the high risk didn't verify at this point. Heck, I don't think anyone in their right mind would have said that 7-8 hours ago.

Call me weird, but there's something sad about the spring peepers croaking away like on any other night. The impact on wildlife is a side of tornado damage that tends to get overlooked, but I think about it sometimes.

I'm not saying this report is wrong, but it is always prudent to be a bit skeptical of such things during the fog of war seen immediately after a tornadic event.
I really hope that's wrong. For what it's worth it does seem a bit weird that not only would the tornado follow almost the same path as the 2015 one, but also cause the exact same number of deaths. Still, with the way things have been going tonight...I wouldn't be too surprised.
