Severe WX April 1-2 (overnight) Severe Weather Event

TOG near Bell City, KY. Very impressed with how, despite being aggressively squished into this line, storms are still poking out and producing supercell structures and attendant tornadoes numerous times all throughout the risk area.

It’s going to take day of observations to confirm, but it’s not impossible one of these upcoming days does end up there.

Speaking of which: when’s the last time we had consecutive high risk days? I think it may be April 27-28, 2014. We almost had a third consecutive risk for areas affected by the storms on April 28, but ongoing convection completely sapped the 29th from what I remember.

Large, deepening TDS headed toward Murray. Not good. We may see a TORE out of this one if this look continues.

Edit: debris isn't extremely high, but they did just upgrade to PDS

I lived near there (or more specifically, the nearby town of Collierville) during the 2000s; my Dad actually worked in downtown Memphis. Suffice to say that I do NOT miss living near that hellhole!
