A good example of how a bias can be a benefit, the RRFS was convecting yesterday’s OWS like no tomorrow and obviously that was a duff. It overmixed the inversion layer a which made it balloon updraft sizes even more so than the FV3 which obviously was not reality.
Both this day and yesterday had weak forcing but obviously the difference here is very weak inversion, much deeper moisture and higher instability.

Memphis storm could be real trouble. The line may “nudge” it right as it approaches the northern suburbs. Bad bad situation

I don't see any multi-story apartments in that town. I don't even see any large apartment complexes of any kind. I do see a couple large nursing homes there, but all 1 story.
