I am getting very nervous for the Memphis metro, including places to the west across far eastern Arkansas. We’ve got several cells now that are getting their act together and will be capable of producing strong/violent tornadoes over the next 2-3 hours.

De Witt, AR cell is finally TOR warned. Fairly stout velocity couplet too, so it's getting ready to try and drop something.

While it may not be the strongest storm presently, I am not a fan of the track this cell near Tunica would take into Memphis proper. The radar hail algo says it has 2.5" hail, too.

Idk, definitely a “hook echo outbreak” right now something feels like it’s still missing for the time being. Great presentation on reflectivity with these cells, but velocity isn’t quite showing that “strong circulation with tornado imminent” look yet. Feels like we’re right on the brink of something significant.

This is spot on. All 13 of these warnings are radar indicated despite having a swarm of chasers down there with plenty of sunlight. These things look great on radar, but they’re not producing anything yet. I hope that continues!
