Severe WX April 1-2 (overnight) Severe Weather Event

Really reminds me of a tragic (and incredibly bizarre) situation that once unfolded in Jackson, TN…

A memorial was set up to commemorate the victims of an F4 tornado that struck the city in 1999… said memorial was then directly struck by another F4 tornado in 2003.
I actually remember hearing about that when it happened!

And on the topic of today, I can't be the only person here who wants to see what @wx_guy's model has to day about today's forecast, can I?

It's so weird being 77/66 out here with a nominally conducive environment later today, but very low chance for storms. Feels juicy, but marginal LRs and that Atlantic High is keeping us dry.

Didn't think it would happen 24 hours ago but it looks like cincy is gonna touch 80 today. those low 60s dews along the ohio river will be interesting to watch over the next few hours with regard to setting the stage for tonight up this way.

If this ends up being an event that is historic, we're gonna have the opportunity to go back through the annals of TalkWeather and find where we talked about poop for an hour (I wonder why our threads get to be 100+ pages) hahahah;)

KPAH 1:30CST discussion update also notes how things have stayed "more discrete" so far. I assume they mean more-so than expected.

Also of note is they included basically zero wording of any good news or potential fail modes (not to say they don't exist, but they don't seem very confident in them currently).

Thoughts on Jackson, TN?
I’m seeing some back and forth on the area. I’m usually just a silent watcher on here because I’m not super educated in this field, but find it very interesting. Getting very sunny in my area, 83 degrees. Me and my children live in a mobile home.

TWC issues POOP:CON of 10 out of 10 for Memphis. Sorry couldn't resist!
