Hi! We plan to drive out from New Jersey to Boston on Saturday (Dec 24th). My question is whether it's a wise thing to do given that there is rain for 2 straight days just prior.
With the sudden freezing temps on Saturday, will the roads be icy/unsafe?
Thank you for your insights.

Yeah, there is definitely a good chance for freezing to occur. It just depends on how fast and when that rain clears out and the temps drop. 57 to 27 is a pretty big temperature swing.

Thanks! Currently its forecasted to stop raining in the afternoon. Do you think the rain would be cleared off the road by evening/when the temps fall?
