Active shooter at Pensacola Naval Air Station

Reports of an active shooter around 6:30am. The base is still on lock-down but the Escambia Sheriff is reporting 3 dead including the shooter. Pensacola News Journal is reporting that a total of 11 have been transported to local hospitals.

I've heard a report that it sounds like it may have involved the flight school for Navy pilots. NOT the museum sponsored camp program.

New report that two of the injured included two Escambia County Sheriff deputies. They are reported to have non-life threatening injuries.

So an active shooter at Pearl Harbor 2 days ago and now one at Pensacola. What the heck is going on.

Mass shooter contagion. These always seem to come in pairs (El Paso and Dayton come to mind). Each mass shooting lowers the threshold for the next one. And seeing someone else carry it out pushes the next sicko to brink.

I think the National Institutes of Health have published several studies on this “contagion” phenomenon.
