5/5-5-6 2026 severe threat

Insane debris fallout from previous tornado all the way up to 11k feet still. That thing was absolute upper echelon.

Crazy event so far.

This is why you shouldn’t sleep on these Dixie set ups, high PWAT be damned. That’s to be excepted when you’re a stones throw from the gulf.
With the context of all these messy mode busts in these past years regarding this region, I was very confident in a super messy mode when I saw the modeled soundings showing zero EML and an incredibly moist and saturated atmosphere in the low levels. But this is the case where I think the very strong drought out west actually made the ceiling of an event much higher, because it must have advected that weak EML into the region last second and set the stage for this to occur. I think that definitely played a big role here.

Looks like a 15% CIG2 would've likely verified after all.

I don't know if you're trolling or if this is some kind of bizarre coping mechanism, but I don't think I'm the only one tired of this.
When he wants to contribute, he’s actually a bright guy. However, it is a bit tiresome. Same thing with the slow issues on this site. At some point, the site and technical owners need to figure these issues the hell out if they expect to keep a user base around here.

Im surprised most people haven’t simply blocked him already, I did it two years ago and my enjoyment of this sight went up by 3 orders of magnitude.

Done and done.

I'm tired of it, but I'm not gonna flood the thread complaining about it.
Fair enough, and I won't make any further mention of it. Anyhow, noticed the Mobile radar is also picking up the debris signature. This is another nasty tornado ongoing.

Debris fallout on our Brookhaven storm. Incredibly nasty and long-lived supercell. Reminds me of many other iconic MS supercells.
This thing is a textbook Mississippi monster for sure!
