2024 Hurricane Season Tropical Cyclone Reports

895 mb for Milton seems very reasonable to me for its peak - no changes to the windspeed also seems completely okay as well, even when considering the fact that they did mention a chance for surface winds to be closer to 160 knots than 155 knots at peak.

With Milton now out we have one more storm left to get a TCR on (Which will take forever knowing the CPHC): Hurricane Hone.

Hurricane Hone's report is still NOT out!

My advise is to settle in and wait, because the Central Pacific Hurricane Center loves to take Forever to update the EPAC reports and put out the CPAC reports when CPAC storm do form.

For an example, Hurricane Kilo from 2015 had its' TCR (the CPAC portion as Kilo crossed the IDL and moved into the WPAC, the report covers only the CPAC), put out on October 10th, 2018. The storm lasted in the CPAC from August 22nd to Septmeber 1st before crossing 180 into the WPAC.

Kilo's report from reference: https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/data/tcr/CP032015_Kilo.pdf

The storm's report from the CPHC took THREE YEARS!
