That's a great question. Bitcoin was so unattainable because of price but Doge was easy to get into and surprisingly has paid off well. Plus.. they have such an amazing community that understands and does not expect to ever be Bitcoin.
How do you go about purchasing something like Doge?

Per Newsweek (I have no idea if they're correct): "Dogecoin, listed as DOGE on cryptocurrency markets, can be purchased using various cryptocurrency and exchange platforms..."
I keep thinking "tulips," but that's what I thought years ago, too, when people went nuts over Bitcoin. Wish I'd invested then.
It's so risky, though.

I use a few different services for purchasing Doge. Robinhood is the easiest for sure but there are others like Crypto.com as well.
Crypto has been having a bad couple of weeks. DOGE is down to 21 cents per coin and Bitcoin is down to 32,587 from a high of 67,000 in April.
Ouch, the Doge drop.
so its a good time to buy dogecoin?
I did buy a little more to lower my average. It is important to know that buying crypto is just like investing. You will have ups and downs. If you are in it to get rich quick, you are in it for the wrong reason.

I believe there are a significant number of people invested in bitcoin for the long term. I don't have the same feeling when it comes to dogecoin. Dogecoin seems to be the crypto equivalent of meme stocks.
That is probably the way a bunch of people feel.
I've recently decided to join the crypto world. I'm very new to all of this so slow and steady. Not looking to get rich but just trying to see what its all about.

Yeah I was in a few months ago. Hoping this continues to rise and rise... hopefully. Hope you have fun in this don't get too involved as it can quickly consume your life lol.
What a ride we are on right now with SHIB. I am trying not to focus on it. I almost made a mistake and luckily coinbase cancelled my transaction.
Wait Shiba INU is listed as not supported by Coinbase right now. You cannot buy or sell.
All the apps went down when it took off. They seem to be coming back online now.
So, everything in my portfollio is crashing. That means its time to buy more....right?
