The new NFL year officially began last week so time for an updated thread.

Panthers are expected to release Cam Newton today. I doubt he stays free for very long though one would think teams would want to evaluate him in person to make sure he's over his injury issues.

Tom Brady vs. Drew Brees on Sunday night football tonight. They have combined for 1120 TD passes and 89 miles of completion yardage in their careers. 89 miles of completion yardage! That's the same distance from Athens Alabama to Birmingham... or Brentwood Tn to Athens. Amazing

It will be Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes, Buccaneers and Chiefs in Super Bowl 55. Buccaneers become the first team in NFL history to play in a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

The injury to the Bills player tonight is so tragic. Praying that he pulls through. CPR was administered on the field and no word yet on his condition. Taken off the field in ambulance.. players crying and praying.. game suspended.. just terrible
