Even Trump is now seeing how suddenly the Presidency can change your entire worldview, and impose a sudden and great sense of responsibility that overwhelms any previously stated belief or goal.

Obamacare didn't undermine Obama's second term. Neither did birthers, scandal, or a very poor relationship with the GOP. What destroyed Obama was failing to act in a time of great moral injustice -- idly standing by and vacillating over his own red-line.

I pray that Trump doesn't make the same mistake. He's yet to show much moral courage or understanding of the gravity of his new job. He was one of loudest voices urging Obama to embrace cowardice, and that the US should shirk its moral obligations. Perhaps all this changes with Syria. Assad must go - - and he must go soon. Who cares if Russia or Iran objects? Since when did the USA give a damn about their opinions or policy goals?

I agree. Sometimes we must act regardless of the consequences. This is one of those times.
 
I like the judge, but I don't like the nuclear option and I don't like the party who knew it would be used if they didn't vote for him.

Our government is a mess and slowly each fail safe falls.

I understand, but the government is clearly not run the same way as those years at this point. If we even think we have seen activist judges, wait until the next Democrat gets in office with a majority in Senate.

If the democrats continue to act as they currently are, they will never get the majority back. The only problem is the Republicans don't know how to govern either so it will happen one day. Need a new conservative party. The Freedom Caucus would be a good start.
 
Likely terror attack in Sweden per their Prime Minister involving a truck crashing into a building.

But, I thought Sweden was a bastion of Western European peace and freedom?
 
The most pleasant surprise in the Trump administration is Nikki Haley. I had my doubts about her but she is so far outstanding at the U.N.

I believe he was referencing using chemicals on the battlefield. All of us, even Spicer know what Hitler did. Some of you people should live in the glass house you erect for others. I swear the PC crap is out of control.

I wasn't basing my statement solely on the Hitler reference, I was considering his entire body of work. Spicer is a train wreck.

He may be in your opinion. Until he is in the eye of his boss he stays. The fact mistakes, misstatements, etc. are not tolerated has just become ridiculous. Perfection is not possible.
