Just opining. I have been a member of this forum for one day. First post and you ridicule and dismiss it. Are you that insecure and unsure of your beliefs that you react in such a way ? Don't want to get off to a bad start here but just wondering about your motives. It's Christmas, let's all get along.

I thought you didn't know who Q is?

I'm torn on this one. How many times can we deploy warriors with B.S. rules of engagement, having them see and experience the horrors of war and not to expect a behavioral change ? While being judged by NCIS who has not gotten their money maker of a desk chair in years.

NCIS didn't report Gallagher or testify against him. His own unit did. Not murdering civilians isn't "B.S. rules of engagement" -- it's what separates us from the terrorists we've been fighting for decades.

There's many reasons to criticize the ROE, particularly the suffocating ROE in Afghanistan during Obama's presidency, but the intentional murder of non-combatant civilians isn't one of them. That's always been absolutely out-of-bounds and should be.

Again, there's plenty of valid criticism of previous ROE out there, but Gallagher's case is one of good order and discipline -- something a number of SEAL units have been struggling with for a number of years now. That members of his own unit reported him and testified against him is incredibly damning. Gallagher lucked out, however, by having a couple of JAG prosecutors who crossed the line themselves. That's not reason to dismiss his crimes, however.

According to the poll mentioned by Market Watch, more than 1/3rd of Millennials approve of Communism.

I think they should all be allowed to go live in North Korea for a year and see if they change their minds. Or, visit Cuba for awhile NOT AS A TOURIST. It's a fairly depressing statistic, and I hope it is completely wrong. Sometimes I think voters should get what they want good and hard, but not when it comes to things like this.

Exactly! There is a big difference in being a tourist in a communist country and being born there!!
Those that fought against communism in wars or in intelligence aspects have to be shaking their heads at this regressive attitude among younger Americans!!

Why do you think this is so? Could it be that our schools and universities are pushing this ?

Not necessarily. There are tons of staunchly conservative southerners that have never contributed to their own retirement that are living off the teat and in debt up to their eyeballs.
Couldn't be more true...

Why are they not aware of the

Why are they so unaware of the horrors of communism?
They are aware, they just envision the way things are going now as ending up like those failed communist regimes. Their intentions are focused on monetary wage deficits, poverty, healthcare costs and debt, etc... not dictators and civil unrest.
A fallacy one would argue sure, but they want a system that they can trust to be fair, equal and just. If millenials are turning to communism and socialism then you know the past generations have made some serious mistakes. They don't trust the elected officials, think they're impervious and the most popular way they know of to send a message is to make it a radical one.

If millennials are turning to Communism it is mainly the fault of our education system. They have good reason not to trust our elected officials as most of them are scoundrels and rats. The establishment of both parties. The elite that has enriched themselves at our expense.
