The fact that we have Biff (George McFly's bully) as our President has pretty much ripped any fairy tale illusions from our eyes of those who hold important titles and offices. Though, I get your point. But truly, I expect, even from Trump to behave a certain way. And I expect to be disappointed every single day because he's never going to behave in a manner becoming of the President of the United States. Having said that, I fully expect the next President to behave as such, with dignity and integrity. I'm probably setting myself up for more disappointment. But I will always expect people who are entrusted with upholding the laws of this land and our constitution to do so with integrity and grace, and as by the book as humanly possible. Including FBI Directors. I have major, major issues with Comey, but my issues with Comey came long before Trump was elected, which is why I told my husband he should be fired day one and this was said before inauguration. Sadly, that did not happen, and because Trump waited to fire him, he opened this can of worms. Yes, I have major, major issues with the way Trump handled the firing. Does he handle anything well? No. He's a walking talking disaster. But I know lots of people will disagree with the fact I think Comey should have been gone long before he was let go. And that's fine. My opinions mean zilch. But I'm ever so glad we have a book now about what Comey thinks about Trump's tiny hands and that he assumes the white half-moon shapes under his eyes are from tanning goggles. Whatever would we do without that bit of knowledge.
Comey doesn't remind me of the Eagle Scout or the nerd type who was the teacher's pet. Am I the only one who actually liked the nerd types in school? I still like the nerd types. They're my favorite people, actually. Anyhoo, Comey most definitely does not remind me of an Eagle Scout. He does remind me of someone who wanted to be one though, and failed, and his ego doesn't know how to handle it.
