Hey Kory, Trump is not a prosecutor. Jeff Sessions turned out to be a meow meow who failed to do his job. I doubt Barr will hold her accountable either.

Actually Matt, I have to disagree with you on this. Jeff Sessions was actually doing his Job and Trump didn't like the fact that Sessions had recused himself. Jeff Sessions was trying to do the right thing and Trump didn't want to hear it. Jeff knew what was going on and that they hadn't found anything, that is why he let it continue. But had they found anything I believe that Jeff would have let it continue to its completion because I have always believe that Jeff Sessions is and always will be an honorable person who tried to do the right thing.

Recusing himself was the correct thing to do. My statements about Sessions was his overstepping of bounds by his department (classifying bumpstocks as machine guns...how the f**k is the DOJ allowed to do that) and trampling of states rights (subjecting people to harsh federal charges for marijuana in states that had legalized it). There are many other examples I don't feel like hashing out.

I'm sure Sessions favorite movie was Reefer Madness.

I agree with you on the bumpstock issue, but that was pressure from Trump not necessarily Sessions.

As far as Marijuana goes, it is still illegal federally. So if someone is charged with a federal crime i.e. possession or possession with intent to distribute, then it doesn't matter what the state law is. Some federal prosecutors though are not prosecuting possession cases. They will prosecute for smuggling and intent to distribute cases.

From the above link:
If you live in a state that legalized medical or recreational marijuana use, it may come as an unpleasant surprise to learn that you are still committing a federal crime by possessing, buying, or selling marijuana. The problem is, despite the liberalization of state laws across the country, federal law still treats marijuana as a controlled substance, just like cocaine or heroin.

Sessions in my opinion was duty bound to inform Trump he would recuse himself in advance. As a result two and a half years of a witch hunt.

Shouldn’t the swamp have been drained by now to prevent that sort of thing from happening?

Do you realize how deep the swamp is ? The government is infiltrated with left wing democrats that spend most of their time thwarting the president. We need about a 95% change out in Congress. Until that happens not much will be drained despite Trump's or any presidents best efforts. We have a 21 trillion dollar debt because Congress voted for. And presidents went right a long with it. Trump would like to reduce it but I am not sure he can. I thought he could and he may still be able to. But it has to start with Congress.

Morgan County’s use of gun-free zones is drawing fire

  • The Morgan County Commission has questionably declared 13 different buildings, including senior centers, “courthouse annexes,” banning firearms from the facilities.
  • The idea that all 13 of the facilities will be used to supplement the courthouse is an insult to every citizen of Morgan County and Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall should immediately rectify this situation.

Look Matt, the US didn’t lose any NBA titles while Obama was president. This is just one more example of Trump putting people in power that let other countries have influence over us. If we can’t control basketball, what’s next!? Slippery slope.

How did that work out during the midterms?

Interesting that one of the great admitted liars of all time has retired. I wonder who will replace Sarah Sanders.

You need to put your source on your message. That is not your own words. Those words can be found word for word in a news article.

?????

She admitted to lying during her interview with Mueller, if that is what you are getting at. Otherwise, I'm confused.

A google search for what I wrote returned nothing...

2 years ago, a left wing fanatic attempted to assassinate multiple US Congresspeople. Why is the media so silent on this anniversary? One of them, Steve Scalise, is still battling to this day to recover 100%. He still walks with a cane.

The FBI and US intelligence agencies are working behind the scenes to thwart Russian election interference, but they are afraid to brief trump because he would oppose the efforts.

They recently hit a 13 year high for subscriptions.

Stock price has more than doubled in the last five years.

Revenue is up, profits are up. By what measure do you say they are failing?
